About me

Hello everyone. If you found this blog after reading one of my short stories, you already know my pen name, which happens to be my full name, James Matthew Dunn but I usually go by Jim.

The purpose of this blog is to support my short story by the same name of this blog, 'When Babies Dream', currently available on Amazon and Barnes and Nobel as either a download to your Kindle or Nook or directly to your PC. Most people think you need a kindle to read my story but this is not true, Amazon allows PC users to download Kindle titles to their personal computers via a free ereader. The other purpose of this blog is to document as many of my experiences fostering babies (ages 4 months to 4 years old) as a single guy.

My plans are to release this story in an iphone/touch app within the next month or so but that's far from free and involves hiring a firm in California to design and program the app but I sincerely feel the iphone/touch app will bring the story, 'When Babies Dream' its greatest exposure.

I intend to answer as many questions as I can about 'When Babies Dream' or about my posts about fostering. Depending on interest in this blog and/or 'When Babies Dream', I would like to expand the story into a full novel about all the kids I have been blessed to help raise over the past four years or so.

Welcome

If you have found this blog after reading When Babies Dream, a BIG welcome and thanks for reading my story. I'm very new to blogging and may end-up with a website to direct everyone to after a short while.

I'd like for this blog to be a place where people who have read When Babies Dream can share their reviews and thoughts and experiences reading it. I also want to answer questions about the story or fostering or whatever else I can answer about the subject matter of this short story.

You might be wondering why did I write When Babies Dream and the answer is very simple. I want to know what people think of the story and my writing so far. Is the subject interesting enough that you would read an entire novel about Ciara and the other kids I have fostered. Would you like to read more about this topic as a memoir or as a fiction novel. I am leaning toward memoir but I like the story aspect of a novel so I am torn between what kind of story to write as I expand on When Babies Dream.

Once I start getting visitors and comments, I'll explain so much more about me and the many stories I have to share with everyone. I guess this page will be devoted to fostering but that's only one type of story I have to share.

Let me know you stopped by and what you thought of When Babies Dream. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to many more visits.

-Jim
